Ο ΣΑΡΚΟΦΑΓΟΣ

Κάθε φορά που ο Προδότης τυχαία περνούσε από κοντά απορροφούσε ένα μέρος της ουσίας της. Σαρκικής ή ψυχικής ουσίας. Του έδινε όχι από έρωτα, αλλά από μετουσιωμένο έρωτα σε μίσος. Κάποτε ίσως τον αγάπησε, σίγουρα τον πόθησε, σίγουρα δεν τον χόρτασε και εν τω μεταξύ κάθε του αγκαλιά γινόταν ένα μεγάλο στόμα που καταβρόχθιζε από εκείνη ό,τι έβρισκε πρόσφορο. Ήταν υπομονετική να απολαμβάνει μαζοχιστικά το βίτσιο της πιστεύοντας πως δεν θα τον μοιραζόταν με κανέναν. 

Παραπλανήθηκε, αγνοούσε εξάλλου τις κρίσεις ειλικρίνειάς του. Τις θεωρούσε κάλπικες και δεν τις πρόσεχε. Της άρεσαν τα παραμύθια. 

Την καταβρόχθιζε όπως πολλές άλλες αχόρταγος. Κάποια από αυτές αυτοκτόνησε, σε μια καινούρια έβλεπε να ξεδιπλώνεται η επανάληψη της ιστορίας της, τόσο που της ερχόταν να την ταρακουνήσει, μπας και ξυπνήσει. 

Ήξερε, ωστόσο, πως δε θα είχε αποτέλεσμα. Ο καθένας ακολουθεί το κάρμα του. Ας πούμε, ο εαυτός της: τι λόγο είχε που δεν τον εξαφάνιζε, επιτέλους, απ' το κάδρο της; Για εκδίκηση, για ανάθεμα; Ίσως να πιάσουν οι κατάρες της, μα όπως λένε, για κάθε ξόρκι η στρίγγλα βάζει ενέχυρο και λίγο απ' την ψυχή της. Κι ύστερα, τι θα της απομείνει; 

Ίσως μια άσχετη με την υπόθεση ανάμνηση μιας άνοιξης, άδολης, που ένιωσε για πρώτη φορά ερωτευμένη κι ευτυχισμένη γυναίκα. Χωρίς διαστροφές κι ανάγκη για εκδίκηση. Χωρίς μίσος. Γυμνή στο φως μιας μεγάλης αθωότητας. Νόμισε τότε πως η πηγή του φωτός ήταν ο Άλλος. Και τον αγάπησε. Σύντομα κατάλαβε πως η ίδια εξέπεμπε το φως. Ο Άλλος ήταν σκοτεινός, καταβόθρα φωτός, σκουλικότρυπα στο σύμπαν της. Της έμαθε πώς να περνά σε άλλη διάσταση. Δεν υπήρξε τότε -κι ίσως ακόμα- αρκετά δυνατή να το παραδεχτεί. 'Ομως ο σκοτεινός της έδωσε μια διέξοδο και γι' αυτό του ήταν ευγνώμων.

Ο προδότης της στέρησε τη διέξοδο που επιτέλους δημιούργησε μόνη της, έσβησε και το φως της. Την έκανε σκοτεινή καταβόθρα, σαν τον Άλλον.

Αυτό που δεν μπορούσε να πει

Ήταν ένα πλάσμα μεταλλαγμένο. Η γλώσσα της ήταν διάτρυτη από πινέζες. Πολύχρωμες. Ατάκτως καρφωμένες.Πρέπει να πονούσε μα όταν τη ρώτησα μου απάντησε γρυλλίζοντας όχι.

Της έδωσα ένα χαρτί. " Γράψε!" , της είπα.

Τα μάτια της ήταν ό,τι πιο όμορφο πάνω της. Είχαν χρώμα κεχριμπαρένιο και φωσφόριζαν στο ημίφως σαν της γάτας. Στην τελική, ήταν μάτια αιλουροειδούς, κάποιο γονίδιο τίγρης θα μπολιάστηκε στο DNA  της. Μόνο που δεν είχε ίχνος αγριότητας στο  βλέμμα. Ήταν μάτια τίγρης με ύφος αρνιού.

Με κοίταξε μ' ευγνωμοσύνη. " Έλα γράψε. Ποιος σε κατάντησε έτσι;"

Πήρε το μολύβι. Έγραψε με μεγάλα στρογγυλά γράμματα "Εγώ, για να πονάω λιγότερο. Μία πινέζα για ό,τι δεν κατάφερα να πω. Πλέον έχω άλλοθι. Δεν νομίζω πως θα κατάφερνα να πω οτιδήποτε με καρφωμένη γλώσσα"

Good luck and congratulations to all! Especially to the CEO of the National Beat Poetry Foundation Debbie Tosun Kilday who is in charge and the inspirer of the whole event.

The event GODDESS is happening internationally for the second time after the GODDESS 2020 event which happened in CT, USA, and where the poets recited in person. This year because of COVID-19 it will be presented on zoom. The majority of the poets are women and they will recite live. There are some recorded recitations though

NATIONAL BEAT POETRY FESTIVAL 2020 DAY1

I am thrilled to be part of the National Beat Poetry Festival again this year. It happens every Labor Day weekend and features poets from around the world, usually all meeting in person in Connecticut. But this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival is happening online.

The legendary Anne Waldman and David Amram will be this year's special guests.

Our hosts will be Debbie Tosun Kilday and Shaw Israel Izikson.

Chryssa Velissariou (me) and Paul Richmond will undertake the technical part.

Today, I and Paul Richmond were helping the amazing Debbie Tosun Kilday to interview all those wonderful poets laureate for the National Beat Poetry Festival 2020. It is a huge struggle (from 10am-9pm) the owner/GEO of the National Beat Poetry Foundation, Inc. offered to promote her prized poets, their poetry, their books, and their ideas. The first day of the festival is starting officially tomorrow, Sep 4th, from 1pm to 5pm. There will be 3 live zoom events, Sep 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2020, 1-5pm, which will be broadcasted on the National Beat & International Beat Poetry Festival bulletin board group here on Facebook and of course, it will be shared by all the supporters of the festival around the world.

Tomorrow we will broadcast live from zoom performances and videos of the past or lifetime National, State, and International Beat Poets Laureate. Wait for the link of the live zoom 3-day festival on the group and of course on our profile!
